There will be no sessions in 2008.

Pacific Northwest Tattoo Seminars Mission Statement: To provide comprehensive overview training of the tattoo procedure, business, toolmaking, and standards.

Administrator/faculty and owner, Kristi L. Kilbourne, tattooer since 1991, owner of Lady Luck Tattoo, Spokane, Washington since 1997, teacher to apprentice tattooers since 1998.

Classes are held at Lady Luck Tattoo Studio, lectures from 10am to noon, prior to studio opening. Observation of live tattooing from studio opening time at noon until 8pm. Schedule to run for a consecutive three week period. Class size is limited to 5 students, with the average class size being 2. Average student/teacher ratio is 2 students/1 teacher.

Admission Standards
Students must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent.

Seminars are not graded, however a certificate of completion is awarded to those completing the seminars completely. Students will be dismissed and denied readmission for:

  • suspected or confirmed drug or alcohol use during class hours, or on studio property
  • more than one day of absence from the training program
  • theft of studio property
  • unprofessional conduct

Tuition for the three week is $3,500, all fees being due prior to the start of the seminar. Of the tuition, $100 is the established registration fee for process of student applications and establishment of student record systems.

Refund Policy:
1. Pacific Northwest Tattoo Seminars (hereafter referred to as PNWTS) will refund all money paid, including registration fee ($100) if the applicant is not accepted. This includes instances where a starting class is canceled by the school.

2. PNWTS will refund all money paid, including registration fee ($100), if the applicant cancels within five business days (excluding Sundays and holidays) after the day the contract is signed or an initial payment is made, as long as the applicant has not begun training.

3. PNWTS may retain an established registration fee of $100 if the applicant cancels after the fifth business day after signing the contract or making an initial payment. A 'registration fee' is any fee charged by a school to process student applications and establish a student record system.

4. If training is terminated after the student enters classes, PNWTS may retain the registration fee established under (c) of this subsection, plus a percentage of the total tuition as described in the following table:

5. When calculating refunds, the official date of the student's termination is the last day of recorded attendance:

(A) When PNWTS receives notice of the student's intention to discontinue the training program: or,
(B)When the student is terminated for a violation of a published school policy which provides for termination, or
(C) When a student, without notice, fails to attend classes for thirty calendar days

6. All refunds will be paid within thirty calendar days of the student's official termination date.

Presently, no placement services, specific financial aid or veterans discounts are available.
