Hi Kristi, I am Mark from Utopia, in Hicksville, NY. I spoke with you briefly the other night. I have two landmark stores on Long Island, NY, that have been around for 30 years. We have been body piercing for 10 years and have the best reputation in our area. I recently built two tattoo rooms in my larger store, next to the body piercing studio. The Hicksville store is 3 floors and is 13000 square feet. We have very heavy traffic flow in this store. So much so, that when I have had guest tattoo artists come in for a week at a time, we keep them busy. Customers constantly ask if we tattoo or just assume that we do. This past Sat. I had 6 people as for tattoos. We have no artwork on display, no signs , and no ads.
I am contacting you because now that my tattoo rooms are finished I am having difficulty finding a top artist. Because I am not an existing/established tattoo shop, when artists move to NY, they never think to stop by and see if we are looking for an artist. I believe I have alot to offer the right artist. But this person must be able to work independently in the sense that they initially will be the only artist. They will also need to help me order flash and set-up artwork on the walls.
You mentioned that you would post an ad on your website for me. I will appreciate any and all help/suggestions that you may have in helping me find an artist.
